Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in Indonesia.

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the team. This role will be responsible for preparing financial reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, Management Accounts) and supporting the audit for the APAC entities, maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing external advisors and supporting the operations function across the region. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of Indonesian and IFRS accounting principles.

Core Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Finance and Tax Controller (APAC) and Head of Finance with key deliverables and any tasks as required to maintain compliance, implementing efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Monitor and control costs to optimise financial performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor project expenses and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Provide support for preparation and submission of tax filings and documents
  • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and information.
  • Collaborate with global Finance teams to align local practices with corporate standards.
  • Research, document and share best practice, sharing knowledge with the Global team to support future projects.
  • Support the wider regional and global teams with any ad-hoc tasks and administration duties as required.
  • Flexibility to attend meetings outside of normal working hours to support global operations.

Qualifications: Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations within Indonesia.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and ideally Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, good written and spoken English language preferable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
