Finance Controller/Mill Controller (Animal Feed)

We are recruiting on behalf of a pioneer in manufacturing scientifically balanced animal feed and animal nutrition in Asia. They are looking to hire a Financial Controller who will report directly to the Head of Finance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Planning
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements for debtors, purchasing, raw materials, revenue, capital expenditure, and cash flow management.
  • Assist the General Manager in preparing annual budgets for sales, manufacturing, financial and administrative costs, and capital expenditures for Mills.
  • Prepare and submit year-end packages for group consolidation.
  • Control
    • Motivate, direct, and coordinate subordinate staff to ensure efficiency, economy, and security in their areas.
    • Maintain proper accounting records and submit timely monthly returns to the corporate office.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements related to accounting and finance.
    • Maintain accurate records of payments, cash flow, and bank balances.
    • Monitor outstanding and overdue debtors.
    • Update fixed asset records in the system.
    • Act as a custodian of company assets and policies.
  • People Development
    • Drive team performance, engagement, retention, and contribution.
    • Facilitate learning and development activities for the Finance & Accounting team, FACT, Sales, and the company.
  • Others
    • Implement corporate programs such as ISO/HACCP, 5S, ISMS, Branding, etc.
    • Perform administrative functions as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience.
    • Experience in manufacturing companies.
    • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
    • Strong communication skills for cross-functional interactions.
    • Proven leadership and organizational development skills.
