Job description

As the Finance Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting for the company. Responsible for managing a team of accounting professionals, you will ensure accurate and timely financial statements, compliance with relevant regulations, and the implementation of robust financial controls. This full-time position is based in East Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure efficient operations

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

Implement and maintain effective financial controls and processes to mitigate risks and ensure the integrity of financial data

Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations

Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures

Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices, and drive continuous improvement within the accounting function

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or in a senior accounting role, preferably within the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry (Preferred in Hospitality)

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights

Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
