Overview

This role partners closely with Commercial, R&D, Operations, and Finance teams to drive business growth and profitability. The position is responsible for analyzing financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and improving processes to enable sustainable commercial success.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Commercial Director and Business Development team in driving growth and profitability, including tender submissions, pricing, forecasting, and contract assessments.
  • Partner with R&D and Operations to validate product costing and review future volume projections.
  • Lead product finance analytics (pricing, COGS, mix, cost-to-sell, profitability, etc.) and explain key variance drivers.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for budgeting, forecasting, and profitable growth.
  • Analyze performance and propose action plans to improve profitability (e.g., Value Engineering, corrective actions).
  • Drive cross-functional projects to simplify, standardize, and strengthen commercial/finance processes.
  • Support internal controls and contract standardization to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop and enhance financial tools (dashboards, scenario planning, ROI analysis, etc.).
  • Lead or support strategic initiatives, transformation projects, and sales force effectiveness improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term financial and strategic planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable university (overseas graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance managerial role with proven analytical and continuous improvement skills, including project management and business analysis.
  • Strong ability to build financial models and forecasts for business cases and commercial arrangements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating across multiple levels (including executives), functions, and regions, and the ability to simplify complex financial information.
  • Proficiency in English preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of Power Query is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect financial results to operational drivers, generate insights, and support decision-making.
