Job summary

Simplifa is hiring a data annotation specialist to support AI model training by labeling financial documents and reviewing AI outputs. You will follow guidelines, ensure accuracy, and meet SLAs while collaborating with AI developers.

The role requires attention to detail, experience with data annotation tools, and a basic understanding of AI/ML concepts. Prior OCR or parsing tool experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Thorough and detail oriented to spot errors in parsed data or annotated records.
• Experience using data annotation tools such as Argilla.io or Label Studio is a plus.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, especially data labeling and human-in-the-loop processes.
• Ability to interpret and refine complex data outputs and report issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Accurately label and annotate financial documents to train AI models.
• Review and correct AI-generated outputs and parsed text from documents.
• Ensure tasks meet defined SLAs for turnaround time and accuracy.
• Provide detailed feedback on parsing errors and edge cases.
• Collaborate with AI developers and data scientists to resolve ambiguities.
• Generate regular reports and documentation.
