Finance & Accounting Staff (12 months’ contract) in Indonesia - Your future position?

As a Finance & Accounting Staff at Givaudan, a leader in the fragrance and flavour industry, you will be part of the local Finance team managing all finance and controlling activities, including monthly book closing, account analysis, VAT, WHT, and Corporate Income tax filings, group and statutory reporting, and participating in ad hoc projects. You will work closely with the Financial Accounting Manager and various stakeholders, supporting the Finance Manager to ensure efficiency and compliance.

In this role, you will also:

• Manage month-end closing for Indonesia.
• Work closely with the controller on SAP contract settlement.
• Perform account analysis, including group and statutory reporting.
• Support VAT, WHT, and Corporate Income Tax filings.
• Assist in checking compliance with internal procedures and controls.
• Support GBS in troubleshooting related to General Accounting.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams and local cross-functional teams as a business partner.

Your professional profile includes:

• University graduate with a major in accounting or tax.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, including taxation and accounting.
• Fluent in English; local language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Action-oriented with the ability to work independently.
