Finance Accounting Manager (Bali Project)
The Finance Accounting Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all records made on the system are in accordance with the receipts at the bank and reviewing the calculation of commissions in accordance with applicable regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company (commission, invoicing, and accounts payable)
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management reports
- Supporting project analysis, validating plans, and handling ad-hoc requests
- Managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Ensuring compliance with finance policies and regulatory requirements
- Checking reports at POS (point of sales) and daily reports sent by Finance Controller/Cashier
- Reviewing reconciliation of finance transactions & commissions between sales recap and incoming money based on the checking account
- Reviewing the receipts bank book prepared by Cash & Collection
- Checking discounts and marketing activities between the POS system and internal memos
- Reviewing the calculation of commissions and cash bonuses
- Preparing reconciliation reports on bank receipts with monthly sales
- Supervising quarterly and annual account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, and assisting with cash flow forecasting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA is a plus
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or distribution industry
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Deep knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations (Brevet A & B), and industry legislation
- Effective communication skills with senior business partners
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
- Experience with Special Economic Zone projects is a plus
- Experience dealing with Customs (import, export, and tax)
- Proficiency in English is required
- Willingness to travel and/or relocate to Bali if necessary
