Job summary

LYD Bali Group in Badung, Bali, is seeking a Finance & Accounting Intern for a full-time role within our Finance and Accounting team. This hands-on internship offers exposure to core accounting processes and financial reporting while you learn from experienced professionals.

You will support with invoices, ledgers, reconciliations and basic reporting, develop Excel proficiency, and gain practical understanding of accounting cycles in a hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and the accounting cycle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with general office software.
• Strong numeracy with attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Clear communication and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to learn in a professional accounting environment.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting software advantageous.
• Indonesian or English language proficiency desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and processing of accounting documents, including invoices, receipts and expense reports.
• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries under supervision.
• Support the reconciliation of accounts and identify discrepancies for resolution.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Conduct basic data entry and maintain organised financial records and filing systems.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence and document management.
• Collaborate with team members and assist with ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned.
