Job summary

AKRUA Consulting hires an Associate to deliver accounting, finance, and tax compliance services for clients across industries. You’ll prepare financial statements, assist back-office processes, and help identify opportunities to improve client operations.

Working with your team and leaders, you’ll gain practical exposure that builds technical and consulting skills. Proficiency in English and cloud software is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting, finance, or tax experience.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and Indonesian taxation.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping and accounting records for assigned clients accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management reports for clients.
• Assist with tax compliance activities, including VAT, withholding taxes, and data preparation.
• Process invoices and support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and stock opname when required.
• Communicate with clients to obtain required information and ensure timely deliverables.
• Utilize cloud accounting software such as Xero, Jurnal, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
