Job summary

PT Modernland Realty Tbk is seeking an Assistant Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee daily finance, accounting, and taxation operations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

The role supports management with cash flow forecasts, project costing, and financial analysis while developing internal controls, policies, and staff development. Collaboration with multiple departments is essential to manage financial affairs effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of PSAK, budgeting, cash flow, and taxation.
• Experience in project accounting, construction costing, inventory and revenue recognition.
• Familiar with Indonesian tax regulations and statutory reporting.
• Experience coordinating external audits.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Accurate, Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance & Accounting Ast. Manager in daily finance, accounting, and taxation operations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely recording of AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank.
• Monitor project costing, construction costs, land acquisition costs, and project profitability.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts, budget monitoring, and financial analysis for decision-making.
• Coordinate tax reporting, including VAT and Corporate Income Tax.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and improve internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor the Finance & Accounting team for efficiency and development.
• Coordinate with Project, Sales, Procurement, Legal, and other departments on financial matters.
• Monitor financing facilities, banking relationships, and loan administration.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards for senior management.

Job description

Assist the Finance & Accounting Ast. Manager in overseeing daily finance, accounting, and taxation operations.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank.

Monitor project costing, construction costs, land acquisition costs, and project profitability.

Prepare cash flow forecasts, budget monitoring, and financial analysis to support management decision-making.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate tax reporting, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.

Coordinate external and internal audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.

Develop and improve financial policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures to minimize financial risks.

Supervise and mentor the Finance & Accounting team to ensure operational efficiency and continuous development.

Coordinate with Project, Sales, Procurement, Legal, and other departments regarding financial and accounting matters.

Monitor financing facilities, banking relationships, and loan administration when required.

Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and business performance analysis for senior management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, and Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK).

Experienced in project accounting, construction costing, inventory/property accounting, and revenue recognition for property development projects.

Familiar with Indonesian tax regulations and statutory reporting.

Experience handling external audits and coordinating with auditors.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Accurate, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
