Job summary

A leading supplier of pumps and valves, PT KSB Indonesia seeks a Field Service Manager to oversee the implementation of service plans and provide technical training. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering with extensive experience in field service operations, leading teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include monitoring service performance, coordinating logistics, and mentoring engineers on-site. Job description

Assist in the implementation of detailed service plans, ensuring adherence to schedule and scope.

Monitor service performance in the field, providing feedback and immediate problem-solving support.

Assist in preparing and delivering technical training under manager guidance.

Track daily/weekly task execution and escalate performance issues as needed.

Coordinate performance data collection for use in evaluations.

Provide day-to-day coaching and field mentoring for Field Service Engineers.

Coordinate logistics and resource allocation for tools, manpower, and scheduling.

Support the manager in CAPEX and OPEX monitoring by preparing utilization and cost efficiency data.

Initiate standard requests for tools, PPE, and training with managerial approval.

Implement QHSE procedures in daily operations.

Report any field risk or non-compliance incidents to management.

Support field audits and hazard assessments in collaboration with QHSE personnel.

Act as alternate contact in manager's absence to liaise with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure smooth handover of job status and updates to/from Field Supervisors and Planners.

Identify gaps in tools, methods, or personnel skills and propose improvement suggestions.

Collaborate in developing and updating operational SOPs and work instructions.

Handle delegated tasks or projects from Filed Service manager.

Provide support for internal coordination with Order Processing, Warranty, and Customer Service teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.

5–8 years of experience in field service operations, preferably in manufacturing or industrial equipment sectors.

Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, leading field service teams.

Strong technical knowledge of electromechanical systems, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

In-depth understanding of pump systems and related service requirements.

Proficient in using ERP or field service management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and cross-functional teams.

A team player with a proactive mindset, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Exhibits a positive attitude, open-mindedness, and a continuous willingness to learn and grow.

Excellent communication skills; fluent in English, both oral and written.

Willing to travel extensively across Indonesia to support field operations and customer sites.
