Job summary

Sulzer is seeking an (Field) Service Engineer to install, calibrate and repair rotating equipment at customer sites. You will assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and on-site training while following ISO, HSE, and company procedures.

This early-career role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, fluent English, and willingness to travel. You will gain hands-on experience on rotating equipment and contribute to safe, reliable operation for our customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience repairing rotating equipment.
• Experience with OEM is advantageous.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and work on project sites.
• Multi-tasking and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Pre-commissioning and commissioning of rotating equipment.
• Supervise DIRA of rotating equipment and accessories.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems; root cause analysis.
• Lead start-up and testing of installations or overhauled units.
• Coordinate with Project OPC, Sales, Engineering and workshop.
• Ensure ISO, HSE compliance and safe working practices.
• Report findings in writing.
