Job description

The Field Sales Supervisor supports and supervises Jiva Leads to ensure efficient operations with integrity. They oversee field activities and provide management with insights for decision-making. This role reports directly to the Area Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

Pre-planting

  • Promote Jiva Lead roles through recruitment drives, advertisements, and referrals.
  • Manage the recruitment process from profile review to employment recommendation.
  • Support Jiva Leads in identifying and hiring potential Sahabat Jiva.
  • Review farmers’ credit suitability and exercise judgment on approval exceptions before submitting recommendations to the Area Manager.
  • Identify target locations for establishing Jiva UPCs and support Jiva Leads in partner searches.

Planting

  • Monitor MC’s cash deposits and follow up on discrepancies.
  • Assess the suitability of current UPCs and identify new ones for upcoming cycles.
  • Manage credit recovery, including decisions on repayment extensions and MC terminations.
  • Supervise end-of-cycle processes to ensure recoupment of working capital and return of equipment.

Requirements

  • Willing to be placed in East Java.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Sales Supervisor/Coordinator in supply chain, agriculture, retail, or FMCG sectors.
  • Target-oriented and data-driven.
  • Comfortable with mobility and travel.
  • Solid understanding of the local farming (corn) community.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both the local language and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
