Field Sales Manager - Freight Forwarding

Adecco is assisting a multinational Freight Forwarding company committed to delivering world-class freight forwarding solutions. They specialize in ocean and air freight services and are looking for a results-driven Field Sales Manager to lead the sales team, expand the market presence, and drive business growth.

The Role
As a Field Sales Manager, you will lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales professionals to exceed revenue targets. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination with the operations and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team revenue targets.
  • Mentor the team to resolve customer operational issues and deliver win-win solutions.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow ocean & air freight business.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • Negotiate and close profitable contracts in compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams for smooth service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management within freight forwarding (ocean, air, land) and contract logistics.
  • Have Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Air/Sea/Land Transport Management/Logistics Management or related
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and negotiation skills.
  • Track record of achieving revenue targets and developing new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of logistics solutions and market trends is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and willing to work on the move.
