Job summary

World Vision Indonesia seeks a Project Officer to support the PASTI Papua Project, coordinating field activities and building partnerships with communities and local partners. The role requires active field presence and strong community engagement.

The candidate should have a Social Sciences background, be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, and be willing to reside in the service area to ensure effective program delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in humanitarian programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences preferred; other fields welcome.
• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia; knowledge of local languages preferred; English an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate planning and implementation of daily activities for PASTI Papua Project.
• Provide technical guidance to community groups and local partners.
• Conduct frequent field visits and monitor program components.
• Build partnerships with village governments, community organizations, faith-based groups.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and support budgeting revisions.
• Coordinate between sub-district and district-level institutions.
