They are seeking a seasoned Feasibility & Environmental Impact Assessment Manager to lead feasibility studies and environmental impact assessment across mining projects on Java.

Job Description

As the Feasibility & Environmental Impact Assessment Manager, you will be the central figure managing both technical feasibility and environmental compliance processes. Main responsibilities include:

  • Lead and coordinate feasibility studies covering technical, financial, and environmental dimensions
  • Oversee preparation and submission of AMDAL / EIA documentation in accordance with Indonesian regulations
  • Ensure alignment with local and national environmental permits and compliance frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g. geology, engineering, operations, legal) and external stakeholders (e.g. government agencies, consultants)
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on feasibility analysis and environmental impact methods
  • Monitor project milestones, budgets, and deliverables related to feasibility and AMDAL activities

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, with evident track record in feasibility studies and AMDAL/EIA for mining projects
  • Proven ability to manage feasibility study processes from scoping through implementation
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian AMDAL/EIA regulations and environmental permitting
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to liaise across government, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
  • Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and spoken)
  • Analytical, results-driven mindset, and capable of leading multidisciplinary teams
