A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Finance Manager in Jakarta Utara to oversee financial performance, compliance with regulations, and lead a finance team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in finance/accounting and a strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws and financial standards. This role offers dynamic challenges within the mining industry and requires effective leadership and analytical skills.
Develop, monitor, and control annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business strategies.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with PSAK/IFRS and company policies.
Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed asset records.
Coordinate with auditors (internal & external) to ensure smooth audits.
Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations and mining-specific taxation (e.g., royalties, VAT, PPh, and regional levies).
Manage tax planning and strategy to optimize tax obligations.
Handle tax audits, disputes, and liaise with tax authorities.
Prepare and submit all tax returns on time.
Ensure adherence to local laws, mining regulations, and corporate governance standards.
Identify financial risks and implement internal controls.
Monitor and implement updates in financial/tax regulations affecting the mining industry.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance, accounting, and tax team.
Collaborate with operations, procurement, and management teams to support business needs.
Provide training on financial and tax compliance to internal stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree or professional certification such as CPA, CA, CMA, or Brevet A/B/C preferred).
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in finance/accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the mining or natural resources industry.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian financial reporting standards (PSAK), IFRS, and tax regulations.
Experience in mining finance structures, royalties, and cost accounting.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Office.
Ability to work in remote site environments and adapt to dynamic mining operations. Good communication in English. Willing to travel to site and Balikpapan office and handle tax matters there.
