Job description

Manage and Monitoring Data Center operations and facilities operations management.

As Data center Consultant project, to get:

  1. Customer visits & meetings to get customer requirements.
  2. Participate in pre-bid making proposals according to customer requirements.
  3. Join the project bid and prepare bid documents for Data center project requirements.
  4. Join the tender clarification meeting to communicate with customers.
  5. Prepare data center project resources (internal resources and external partners or subcontractors).
  6. Prepare internal kick-off with internal departments and external kick-off meeting with customers for Data center project.
  7. Data center project PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycling follow and monitor.
  8. Support teams and coordinate with customers to solve problems that are beyond the team's capability during the Data center project implementation.
  9. Analyze project costs, predict profits for data center projects, and control the Data Center project in a controllable way.
  10. Data Center project risk recognition and management, customer complaint management and handling.
  11. Other tasks assigned by the company director.
  12. Execute and complete all tasks assigned by the Company.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil). Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.

Relevant certifications such as Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD), Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP), or equivalent.

Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in data center operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing mission-critical facilities.

Proven track record of strategic planning, team leadership, and budget management in a high-availability environment (Tier III or IV).

Experience in multi-site operations and global data center standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ISO standards).

Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, BMS, fire suppression systems, and power infrastructure (UPS, generators, etc.).

Deep understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance, emergency systems, and energy efficiency practices. Familiarity with DCIM platforms, ITIL best practices, and incident management protocols.

Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, SSAE 18, PCI-DSS). Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in 24/7 mission-critical environments.

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and risk mitigation skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present to C-level executives.

Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented with a strong focus on operational excellence and uptime reliability.

Ability to travel as needed for site audits and operational oversight.

Fluent in English; additional language skills in Chinese are a plus for regional/global operations.
