Teaching Schedule: Once a week (1-hour session)

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and experienced individual in computer programming to join our school as an Extracurricular Coding Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for designing engaging lessons, guiding students through simple coding projects, and fostering interest and skills in technology and programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach the extracurricular Coding program according to the assigned weekly schedule (1 session per week).
  • Prepare and deliver lesson materials appropriate for students' age and skill levels.
  • Guide students in creating simple projects or applications using tools such as Python, C/C++, or other educational platforms.
  • Foster students’ logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills through programming.
  • Conduct periodic assessments and provide progress reports on students’ learning.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education: Senior High School (preferably D3/S1 in IT, Education, or a related field).
  • Proficient in basic programming languages such as Python, or other beginner-friendly coding tools.
  • Teaching or mentoring experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, especially with teenagers.
  • Creative, patient, and able to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Willing to teach in-person as required by the school.
