As Subsea Structure Designer, you will be responsible for gathering data from multiple sources and preparing 2D drawings and 3D model development. You will also assist with recommendations and help create final documentation.

What you’ll do

The role responsibilities include:

1. Gathering data from multiple sources and preparing 2D drawings and 3D model development. Assisting with recommendations and creating final documentation.
2. Determining technical issues, defining alternate solutions, establishing pros/cons for multiple solutions, and making recommendations to support official project documents such as technical queries and technical deviations.
3. Reviewing similar documentation or drawings to assist others and reviewing/authorizing work done by direct reports.
4. Incorporating information from multiple sources into drawings, 3D model development, and MTOs.
5. Seeking input from knowledgeable sources and providing input related to constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews, incorporating requirements into design.
6. Working with site personnel to resolve issues in drawings or 3D development design.

What you’ll have

1. Experience working in a related industry such as environmental, operations, maintenance, fabrication, or construction. Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
2. Ability to interface with other disciplines to obtain input for designs and drawings and develop clash-free designs.
3. Assistance in the identification of technical problems and contribution of possible solutions.
4. Conducting self-checks on drawing/sketches and undertaking checking of others' work in a project or department environment within own experience and competence level.
5. Knowledge in subsea structure design between the wells and the flowline PLETs, PLEMs, manifolds, including re-spud well locations and foundations.
6. Preparation of subsea structure drawings and sketches consistent with good engineering practices and in compliance with company drawing office procedures.
7. Assistance to Fabrication in the resolution of construction difficulties relating to design problems and clashes.
8. A track record of working with multi-national personnel within a major project environment.
9. Competence in AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
10. Ability to organize information from many sources and retain it as per the prescribed format and policies.
11. Full proficiency in specialty design tools, analytics, and modelling, and cross-discipline data-centric methods.
