What you’ll do
We are looking for a Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to join our team in Indonesia.
Responsibilities:
- Works independently at an advanced level completing a wide variety of assignments through the application of advanced engineering theories, techniques, and practices.
- Has substantial knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables. May provide discipline supervision for one larger or one or more smaller projects.
What you’ll have
- Senior level position with advanced knowledge and a specialized depth or breadth of expertise, gaining a mastery of a single area or multiple broader areas of specialty, product, and systems. May also lead small groups in projects or teams.
- Awarded a 4 or 5 year technical degree in science or engineering. Trained in leadership and project execution. Will be actively licensed with a local engineering governing body where required by law.
- Typically 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry, and 4 years of experience as Senior Flow Assurance Engineer.
- Strong background in discipline work and a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices. Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
- Knowledgeable of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Ability to identify, define, and analyze complex multiphase hydrocarbon transportation schemes.
- Proficient knowledge of multiphase steady state and transient simulations with specialist flow assurance software in the analysis of development projects.
- Experience with Technical Audit and Design & Safety Reviews, HAZOP, HAZID’s, Risk Assessments.
- Ability to effectively interface and communicate with other staff, shareholders, contractors, and management.
- Full understanding of the importance in planning and executing projects.
- Ability to identify the need for and manage the integration of HSE and technical risk processes into engineering and project solutions.
- Demonstrable experience in Flow Assurance in all project phases.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other disciplines due to multidisciplinary approach to projects.
- Able to handle highly complex and diverse assignments while applying a high level of independence.
- Strong communication, coordination, task prioritization, interpersonal skills, and excellent engineering judgment.
- Experience working in project leadership. Specialized expertise in one or more areas of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices.
- Capability to prepare all technical documentation related to Flow Assurance activities during the different phases of the Project, such as Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and contract package preparation, detailed engineering, and Operations.
- Experience to follow up Supplier Call for Tender & Selection when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline.
- Capability to review and approve FEED, Tender, and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors when applicable for Flow Assurance discipline.
- Able to work in teamwork and collaboration with other colleagues in the Subsea Systems department, especially with the Flow Assurance colleagues.
- Be aware of International Standards & Codes.
- Correctly apply Company internal standards and HSEQ policies.
