As a Lead Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the safety studies of the project and demonstrating a sound overall technical understanding across the oil and gas disciplines.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in conducting safety assessments, risk analysis, and leading safety workshops, with a strong background in process safety engineering within the oil and gas industry.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and oversee the safety studies of the project.
  • Demonstrate a sound overall technical understanding across the oil and gas disciplines and combine this with good management skills.
  • Collaborate successfully to execute complex engineering projects.

What you’ll have

  • At least a Bachelor of Science degree in Process Safety Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least ten (10) years of technical process and services on oil & gas projects, and a minimum of 2 years experience in FEED or Detail Engineering.
  • Experience in conducting and leading formal safety assessments, QRA, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and ALARP workshops.
  • Experience working within risk-based HSSE frameworks aligned with UK, Australian, or relevant international legislation.
