About the job

We’re looking for a Lead Process Safety Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing safety studies of the project, demonstrating a sound overall technical understanding across oil and gas disciplines.

To succeed, candidates should have extensive experience in process safety engineering within the oil and gas industry, including conducting safety assessments like QRA, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and ALARP workshops, and working within risk-based HSSE frameworks aligned with international standards.

What you’ll do

• Manage and oversee safety studies for projects.
• Demonstrate technical expertise across oil and gas disciplines and lead project teams effectively.

What you’ll have

• Bachelor of Science in Process Safety Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 10 years of technical process and services experience, and 2 years in FEED or detailed engineering.
• Experience leading formal safety assessments such as QRA, HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and ALARP workshops.
• Experience with risk-based HSSE frameworks aligned with international legislation (e.g., UK, Australian).
