Job summary

Worley in Indonesia is seeking a Lead Design Process Engineer to oversee the project’s process engineering discipline. You will ensure all engineering deliverables comply with contract requirements and obtain technical sign-off for changes, drawing on 15 years of experience in chemical or process engineering.

The role requires leadership in design for geothermal power projects and related oil & gas interfaces, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and efficiency to support project

Qualifications

• 15 years experience in design process engineering for energy projects.
• Basic safety knowledge and ability to implement safety processes to mitigate risk.
• Experience in power or oil & gas plant design and specification, including geothermal systems.

Responsibilities

• Design engineers with geothermal power plant and Steam Field Above Ground (SAGS) experience.
• Develop preliminary designs and specifications, EPC contract documents, tender evaluation, design review, and attend key factory acceptance tests.
• Ensure safety engineering meets company requirements, regulations and best practices across design, reliability and operability.
• Lead and provide technical advisory to field construction and standardize best practices/lessons learned.
• Troubleshoot operational problems with operations to avoid schedule interruptions.
• Coordinate with team on design and operational reviews, maintenance programs and approvals from stakeholders.
• Ensure implementation of technical standards, specifications, drawings, layouts and FEED documents.

What You’ll Do

We are looking for Lead Design Process Engineer to join our team in Indonesia

The Role Responsibilities Include

• Design engineers with specific geothermal power plant and Steam Field Above Ground (SAGS) experience.
• Development of preliminary designs and specifications, development of performance-based EPC contract documents for power plant and SAGS, tender evaluation, design review and attendance at key factory acceptance tests.
• Ensure that overall safety engineering meet the Company requirements, applicable regulations and good engineering practices in terms of design, reliability, maintainability, and operability.
• Manage and lead direct and provide technical advisory and consultancy to field construction and standardize best practices / lesson learnt in an efficient and safe manner
• Provide guidance and assistance in troubleshooting of operational problems to operations in a timely and safe manner in order to avoid any interruption to project schedule to achieve the business target.
• Manage and coordinate with team related to design and operational reviews, maintenance program and approvals from key internal stakeholders.
• Manage and ensure implemented of technical standards, specifications, drawings, lay out and documents FEED

What You’ll Have

• Having 15 years experiences. Chemical or Process Engineer
• Having basic safety knowledge, able to implement safety process and mitigate risk effectively in order ensure safety working properly. Actively ensure that all drilling operators under his/her control are conducted safely, and to high quality standards.
• Experience in power or oil & gas plant design and specification of geothermal power plant comprising both conventional Rankine steam cycle and Organic Rankine Cycle plant.
