Job description

Export Import Supervisor (Automotive Manufacturer)

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an Export Import Specialist, preferably from an automotive company.
  • Diploma (D3) in any major.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience in obtaining Import/Export Licenses from the Indonesian Government.
  • Knowledge of global and Indonesian import/export regulations, customs audits, and 3PL management.

Responsibilities:

  1. Select and recommend 3PL providers to support import shipments and customs clearance timely.
  2. Coordinate closely with 3PL providers to monitor overseas shipment processes.
  3. Review 3PL performance and report regularly.
  4. Verify 3PL billing.
  5. Ensure import/export requirements are met (COO from suppliers, licenses).
  6. Monitor COO achievement and license quotas, reporting timely.
  7. Oversee shipment process from overseas suppliers until arrival in Indonesia.
  8. Check and confirm PIB/PEB documentation.
  9. Stay updated on government regulations regarding import/export activities.
  10. Manage license quota usage and renewal applications.
  11. Lead any customs audit activities.
  12. Analyze processes, identify gaps, and develop countermeasures.
