Export/Import Operations Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Export/Import Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of export/import operations, including air freight handling and logistics.
2. Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs clearance procedures, and documentation requirements.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and carriers.
4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
5. Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
6. Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues or delays promptly.
7. Negotiate favorable rates and terms with carriers and suppliers.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in air freight handling, freight forwarding, and logistics.
2. IATA License (Mandatory).
3. Proven track record in an airfreight supervisory role.
4. Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation and customs clearance procedures.
5. High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
6. Proficiency in logistics software and computer systems.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
9. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
10. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
11. Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with customs regulations.
12. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines.
13. Excellent time management skills.
