Qualifications

• recognised qualification or certification in barbering from an accredited institution.
• proven experience working as a barber in a professional salon or grooming establishment.
• advanced proficiency with traditional and modern barbering techniques and tools.
• strong knowledge of different hair types, beard styles and contemporary grooming trends.
• excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients.
• meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• sound understanding of health, safety and hygiene standards relevant to the barbering profession.
• professional demeanour and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• fluency in Indonesian; English advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing professional barbering services including haircuts, shaving, beard trimming and other grooming treatments to clients.
• Consulting with clients to understand their preferences, style requirements and grooming needs.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Sanitising and maintaining all barbering tools and equipment to the highest standards.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Staying up to date with current barbering trends, styles and techniques.
• Providing advice and recommendations on hair care products and maintenance routines.
• Contributing to a positive team atmosphere and supporting colleagues within the salon.
