About the role

As the Exim Senior Supervisor at PT. Polygroup Manufaktur Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in managing export & import activity and custom relations in Grobogan Factory, Purwodadi, Central Java. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee and coordinate the import and export of raw materials, components, and finished products to and from our manufacturing facility
• Manage customs clearance procedures and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
• Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements for the timely delivery of goods
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations to optimise supply chain efficiency
• Provide expert guidance and support to the logistics team, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle all import and export-related tasks
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs
• Analyse data and generate reports to track performance and inform strategic decision-making

What we're looking for

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a senior supervisory role within the shipping/transportation management industry
• Thorough understanding of import and export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade logistics
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proven ability to work under pressure
• Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively coordinate and develop the logistics team
• Proficiency in data analysis and report generation using relevant software tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners
