Job summary

PT Esun International Utama Indonesia seeks an experienced Export-Import Manager to oversee end-to-end import/export operations in Batam. You will ensure accuracy of documents, coordinate with forwarders, and maintain compliance with government and customs regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration with agencies, vendors, and shipping partners. Placement in Sekupang Industrial Estate, Batam.

Job description

1. Manage and oversee the company's entire export and import process.

2. Ensure the completeness and accuracy of export-import documents, such as PIB, PEB, invoices, packing lists, COO, BL/AWB, and other related documents.

3. Coordinate with forwarders, shipping companies, vendors, suppliers, and customs officials.

4. Ensure all export-import activities comply with applicable government and customs regulations.

5. Control customs clearance and shipment processes to ensure timely delivery.

6. Monitor logistics costs and ensure operational efficiency.

7. Involve issues related to international shipping, customs, and import/export regulations.

8. Prepare periodic reports on export-import activities and management.

9. Lead and develop the export-import team.

Qualification :

1. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Management, International Business, or a related field.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in the Export-Import field.

3. Comprehensive understanding of customs regulations and export-import procedures.

4. Good relationships and connections with relevant government agencies, such as Customs, the Ministry of Trade, and other regulatory bodies.

5. Strong technical skills in export-import processes, customs clearance, shipping, and customs documentation.

6. Experience handling customs clearance and international shipping.

7. Good communication and negotiation skills.

8. Able to work with detail, quickly, and with a target-oriented approach.

9. Proficient in Microsoft Office and related export-import systems.

10. Prefered fluent in English & Mandarin (vocal and written).

11. Placement in the Sekupang Industrial Estate, Batam.
