Executive Utility Engineer

Prepare and coordinate with his subordinates for all Work Instruction and operating guidelines and ensure accurate implementation thereof.

Prepare historical data for each machinery.

Ensure that all utilities facility are operated efficiently, smoothly, are reliable and available in accordance with production requirements.

Make short and long term plans with clear action plans for the operation of the section under his responsibility in order to meet specified requirements.

Ensure and control Material requisition such as: chemicals, Salt, MFO and Solar are always available at minimum stock.

Ensure and control all the utility consumption such as: steam, chemicals, Shell, MFO, Solar and Water are within budget on a daily basis and coordinate with Maintenance Clerk.

Prepare Monthly Utilities consumption with detailed reasons if the consumption exceeds budget.

Ensure water availability in storage tanks at all times for both Palmindo and Power Plant.

Must be willing to call out 24 hrs if needed in case of emergency.

Attend daily meetings if requested.

Provide, set and review/evaluate regularly the standard of operation procedures and make appropriate changes in the system and procedures if required to improve equipment performance and minimize costly downtime/breakdowns.

Attend promptly to breakdown equipment, prepare a detailed analysis of the root cause of the problems, and make corrections and corrective actions required to solve the problem and report to his superior.

Participate in the evaluation of process problems and coordinate with the Maintenance group in recommending corrections and corrective actions related to instrument parameters.

Establish and implement operating procedures consistent with good engineering practice to assure peak equipment performance and high-quality product at minimum cost. Initiate and implement timely countermeasures to bring back the sections under his responsibility to normal conditions during upsets and when abnormal conditions occur.

Plan, implement and follow up training programs for his subordinates in order to maintain and improve their technical competence.

Prepare and submit to his superior all reports required regarding the status of all activities related to the operation.

Closely coordinate with Mechanical & Electrical/Instrument section concerning the status of spare parts and consumables required for maintenance and repair, also to ensure the spare parts / auxiliaries are available anytime requested, especially for Power Plant Shutdown.

Coordinate with other sections of maintenance concerning stopping, starting and performance testing of the plant equipment to ensure smooth operation of the plant.

Perform and carry out any duties as may be required and instructed by his superior.

Create a working atmosphere that encourages his subordinates to work with willingness and enthusiasm.

Inspire and motivate his subordinates to willingly take any required action to prevent any unscheduled stoppage of the plant equipment.

Develop and maintain a program to improve knowledge, attitudes, and skills of his subordinates in order to enable them to achieve and apply the maximum of their capabilities.

Train his subordinates to apply logical thinking processes in making judgments and decisions during troubleshooting of any problem to prevent any delay in the repair of the plant equipment.

Promote good teamwork with other groups to achieve maximum spirit of cooperation.

Organize and provide necessary support to his subordinates to ensure that all work schedules and quality meet within standard.

Lead and direct his subordinates to implement company rules and safety regulations and conduct investigations whenever infractions or offenses are incurred by his subordinates.
