Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge in ocean import/export, operations, and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor daily shipments, providing updates to customers.
  • Liaise with relevant parties for documentation and shipment arrangements.
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally via email or phone.
  • Coordinate with logistics agencies for goods transportation and delivery.
  • Manage sea freight shipments and directly liaise with customers.
  • Ensure accurate costings and revenues are applied to each shipment.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Executive (Import) to join our team! If you have experience in freight forwarding or logistics and are eager to grow in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in ocean import/export, operations, and customer service.
  • Willingness to work in Klang.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor daily shipments, providing timely updates to customers on deliveries.
  • Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure proper documentation and arrangement of shipments.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints or inquiries via email or phone in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with logistics agencies for transportation and delivery of goods.
  • Manage sea freight shipments, liaising directly with customers.
  • Handle costing, billing documentation, and payment for sea shipments.
  • Ensure accurate costings and revenues are applied to each shipment.
  • Ensure all jobs are completed and closed within the set deadlines.
  • Update and maintain reports as requested by HQ/Management.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
