Job summary

APRIL in Indonesia is seeking an EV Bus Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability, safety, and performance of our electric bus fleet.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on EV buses, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, inspect HV battery packs, motors and drivetrains, and prepare precise maintenance reports while upholding safety standards.

Two years of relevant EV experience preferred; diploma or degree in mechatronics or automotive engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering.
• With minimum 2 years of experience in EV bus maintenance or electric vehicles.
• Proven experience in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical/mechanical systems and HV batteries.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on EV buses.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
• Inspect and repair high-voltage battery systems, electric motors, and drivetrains.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Electric Vehicle (EV) buses.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
• Conduct inspections and repairs on high-voltage battery systems, electric motors, drivetrain systems, and associated components.
• Analyze technical issues and implement effective repair solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure maintenance work complies with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Prepare maintenance reports and service documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet reliability and performance.

Requirements
