Job summary

PT ASTANA KINAYA MITRATAMA in Jakarta is seeking a civil engineering estimator to join our team. The role focuses on quantity take-offs from working drawings for earthwork, concrete, rebar, formwork and finishing, and assists in preparing BOQ and cost estimates (RAB).

You will analyze specifications to ensure cost estimates align with project standards and support change tracking. Ideal candidates hold at least a bachelor's in civil engineering and are proficient in AutoCAD and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Fresh graduates welcome; internship considered.
• Ability to read shop/as-built drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of BOQ/RAB.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs for earthwork, concrete, rebar, formwork, and finishing from working drawings.
• Assist in preparing BOQ and Cost Estimate (RAB).
• Estimate labor requirements (man-hours) and project equipment needs.
• Analyze technical drawings and specifications to ensure estimates meet project standards.
• Support the systematic preparation of cost estimate reports.
• Manage data on material prices, labor wages, and project estimate documentation.
• Support monitoring of design changes that impact project costs.
