Job Overview

Lead and supervise the estimation team for Electrical & Mechanical works.

Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.

Prepare and finalize cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions.

Analyze material, equipment, labor, and subcontractor quotations.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams.

Monitor market prices, cost trends, and supplier data.

Support management in contract negotiations and risk assessment.

Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

Provide value engineering and cost optimization recommendations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred).

Minimum 15 years of experience in cost estimation and tendering for large-scale multidisciplinary projects (Electrical & Mechanical).

In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building services, materials, and MEP systems.

Proven ability to prepare and review detailed cost estimates, BOQ, and tender submissions.

Strong understanding of local and international codes, standards, and regulations.

Proficient in estimation software and tools, including Cubicost and MS Excel.

Capable of performing cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessment for multi-discipline projects.

Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and local regulations.

Skilled in accurately interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Strong leadership and communication skills for coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Demonstrated expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and tendering for large-scale civil engineering projects.

Capable of preparing and reviewing detailed cost reports and managing tender submissions to meet deadlines.

Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites as required.
