Job Description

  • Developing policy reforms to accelerate renewable energy adoption while ensuring a fair transition.
  • Evaluating investment needs, financing capacities, and fiscal implications of energy transition pathways.
  • Analyzing the financial and commercial feasibility of shifting captive power fleets to gas or renewables, including the impact of transition credits.
  • Assessing the economic and trade implications of decarbonization initiatives.
  • Conducting financial and fiscal impact analyses on coal plant retirements.
  • Examining the feasibility of green hydrogen projects and scaling strategies.
  • Assessing the market potential for renewable energy industries.


The Successful Applicant

  • Background in energy efficiency, electrification, renewables, alternative fuels (hydrogen, methanol, SAF), GHG reduction, mining (critical minerals), oil, and gas.
  • Governance frameworks, utility regulation, market structures, business models.
  • Energy pricing, carbon pricing, sustainable financing, economic & social impact assessments.
  • Green jobs, re-skilling, GHG emissions measurement & monitoring
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
  • A Master's degree, MBA, or equivalent is highly valued.
  • Proactive, analytical, and strategic thinker with strong accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management, communication, and commercial acumen.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
