Job summary

Arkora Group seeks an ESG/HSE Officer in Jakarta to oversee health, safety and environmental activities across project stages. The role requires 3+ years in ESG/HSE, a relevant degree, and strong Indonesian environmental and safety regulations knowledge.

Based in South Jakarta with site-visit availability. Responsibilities include monitoring HSE across development, construction and operation, guiding site teams, coordinating reporting to authorities, and contributing to SEMS and sustainability

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ESG/HSE experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian environmental, occupational health & safety and ESG regulations.
• Experience with field inspections and monitoring HSE implementation.
• Understand hazards identification and risk assessment concepts (HIRADC/IADL), incident investigation, environmental reporting and OHS requirements.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ESG functions are managed across project stages (development, construction, operation, corporate).
• Monitor HSE implementation in construction and operation phases.
• Provide guidance to HSE site teams on reporting to government agencies regarding ESG compliance.
• Monitor reporting schedules for construction and operation phases to stakeholders.
• Assist in resolving Corrective Action Plans from lenders.
• Assist in developing and updating SEMS procedures and Sustainability Reports.

Job description

3+ years of ESG , HSE or other relevant experience.

Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian environmental, occupational health & safety, and ESG-related regulations.

Experienced in field inspections and monitoring HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) implementation.

Preferred experience in energy, construction, infrastructure, or similar industries.

Understand the technical aspects of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRADC, IADL), incident investigation, environmental reporting, and OHS (Occupational Health and Safety).

Having good communication and coordination skills, high analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Based in South Jakarta, available for project site visits.

Responsibilities

Ensure all ESG functions are managed effectively across project stages, from development, construction, operation, to corporate level.

Monitor HSE implementation in construction and operation phases.

Provide guidance to HSE site teams on reporting mechanisms to relevant government agencies regarding ESG compliance.

Monitor reporting schedules for construction and operation phases to relevant stakeholders.

Assist in resolving Corrective Action Plans (CAP) from lenders.

Assist in developing and updating procedures, forms, and supporting documents in SEMS and preparing Sustainability Reports.
