Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking an Equity Research Associate focused on Gaming and Classifieds. You will build and maintain financial models, forecast earnings, value equities, and analyse company results, market data and operating metrics for institutional clients.

You will monitor industry developments, participate in meetings and briefings, prepare research materials, and contribute to sector updates and thematic publications. Collaboration with Research, Sales and Trading teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor relevant industry, regulatory and market developments and help maintain sector datasets, comparable-company analysis and other research materials.
• Assist with company meetings, management briefings, industry events and reporting-season activity, preparing analysis and materials to support client discussions, presentations and investor enquiries.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Research, Sales and Trading, develop understanding of equity markets and the investment research process while maintaining high standards of accuracy, independence and integrity.
• Maintain financial, earnings and valuation models and analyse company financial statements, results, market announcements and relevant operating metrics.

You will support research coverage across the Gaming and Classifieds sectors, including maintaining financial, earnings and valuation models and analysing company financial statements, results, market announcements and relevant operating metrics. You will assist with earnings forecasts, valuations and investment analysis, undertake company and industry research, and contribute to results commentary, company research, sector updates and thematic publications for institutional clients.
