We are looking for an Equity Fund Manager in Indonesia who responsible for managing all equity funds by researching and selecting the most appropriate stocks to support the mutual fund portfolio strategy in accordance with the established objectives and limitations and providing recommendations for buying and selling stocks. Carrying out with reference to the prevailing laws and regulations in the Indonesian capital market.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the entire stock portfolio based on the objectives and portfolio strategy of the mutual fund to achieve the performance targets set in the matrix. This includes determining appropriate benchmarks for the entire stock portfolio, managing the portfolio according to the strategy, objectives, and existing limitations, and ensuring that the liquidity level aligns with the preferences of each portfolio.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on primary and/or secondary stocks in the universe, as well as maintain good relations (networking) and communicate with companies whose shares are in the universe portfolio.
  • Monitor and ensure that the investment process is carried out in accordance with the provisions and properly and correctly documented.
  • Create/compile reports for local and regional, including those related to investment meetings (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly & quarterly) for internal and external parties. Including ensuring that the NAV value is in accordance with the related documents.
  • Support business development activities, such as new product development, business presentations/tenders, and educational programs by providing reliable and relevant data and information.
  • In general, the position holder also plays a role in efforts to improve and develop work processes sustainably, through evaluation activities that are expected to produce solutions for business sustainability.
Qualifications

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance and Banking, or related fields.
  • Mandatory holding WMI / WPPE / WPEE / WAPERD Certification that has been approved by SK (Decree) from OJK.
  • Optional holding CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the financial industry such as capital markets, insurance or banking, especially in the investment area.
  • Deep understanding of capital markets, including but not limited to the spectrum of equity management, bond and fixed income management, portfolio management, macroeconomics, qualitative analysis and valuation.
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations, especially in the capital market industry and not limited to POJK, SEOJK and other capital market regulations.
  • Target-oriented, excellent leadership, good in existing network development, understanding of administrative work and product distribution.
