A leading telecommunications company in Indonesia seeks an E&S Officer to manage and ensure compliance with Environmental & Social standards across all sites. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Environmental Engineering, strong managerial skills, and proficiency in English. This role offers the opportunity to work on significant infrastructure projects and conduct site visits throughout Indonesia.
Responsible for managing and overseeing all Environmental & Social (E&S) compliance across all PSN Group sites, in accordance with applicable standards and regulations such as the Environmental & Social Management Framework (ESMF), Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Environmental & Social Management Plan (ESMP), Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP), as well as PSN Group’s internal guidelines and policies.
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of all E&S-related documentation.
Manage compliance reporting to both Indonesian authorities and external lenders.
Monitor project teams and all relevant vendors/contractors to ensure adherence to E&S requirements.
Submit regular E&S reports and present monitoring results to management, highlighting compliance status and progress.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
Experience as an E&S Officer/Specialist (or similar role) on infrastructure projects funded by multinational lenders is preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and managerial skills.
Proficient in both spoken and written English.
Willing to conduct site visits to project locations across Indonesia, including Papua.
Based in Jakarta.
