Job Description

• Ensure the site complies with Company's requirements related to environmental matters.
• Serve as the functional owner and facilitator for implementing environmental and sustainability components within the site’s Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and Environmental & Sustainability (E&S) Management System.
• Identify environmental aspects, hazards, and emerging requirements, and ensure they are managed to acceptable levels of risk or impact.
• Define the site's environmental and sustainability objectives and evaluate performance effectiveness. Accountable for achieving K-C’s sustainability goals related to energy/climate, water, and waste.
• Lead initiatives to improve the maturity and effectiveness of the site's environmental and sustainability programs.
• Implement global and regional/business unit environmental and sustainability strategies effectively.
• Assist in investigating environmental events, ensuring thorough root cause evaluations and implementation of corrective/preventative actions.
• Ensure all employees equipped with appropriate orientation and training in environmental and sustainability programs.
• Ensure contractors comply with applicable K-C standards and OH&S/E&S requirements.
• Use digital platforms to analyze environmental and sustainability data while ensuring data integrity. Provide insights and recommend improvement actions based on the analysis.

Requirement

1. Minimum bachelor’s degree chemistry, pharmaceutical, or mechanical engineering major is preferred.
2. Willing to be place in Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur.
3. Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering environmental management, sustainability or a related field.
4. At least 5-7 years of experience in environmental management within a manufacturing environment, with a focus on legal compliance, risk management, and adherence to company standards.
5. Qualifications required by local regulatory authorities if any.
6. At least 2 years of experience in a leadership, management, or supervisory role.
7. Strong communications, interpersonal skills with ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
8. Ability to influence behaviors/outcomes w/o direct authority.
