Job summary

INDICO, Telkomsel Group’s digital company, seeks an experienced architect to drive architecture across enterprise and solution layers. You will define business capabilities, roadmaps, API patterns, and cloud-native standards while guiding cross-functional teams through complex initiatives.

The role emphasizes governance, reference architectures, and hands-on mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring architectural alignment with business objectives and technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years in solution or enterprise architecture.
• Experience with payment platforms, telco systems, API platforms, event-driven architecture, cloud-native architecture, DDD, TOGAF, ArchiMate/C4.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, cloud platforms and integration architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture blueprint and target-state roadmaps.
• Lead solution design for strategic initiatives and ensure scalable technical solutions.
• Establish architecture governance and ADRs; review risks and exceptions.
• Define standards for APIs, integrations, cloud, security and observability.
• Mentor engineering teams and facilitate architecture reviews.

What you will do but not limited to:

Enterprise Architecture

• Develop andmaintainthe enterprise architecture blueprint.
• Define business capability maps, application landscape, technology landscape, and integration landscape.
• Drive target-state architecture and modernization roadmaps.
• Establisharchitecture principles and technology standards.
• Ensure architectural alignment with businessobjectivesand technology strategy.

Solution Architecture

• Lead architecture design for strategic and cross-functional initiatives.
• Review business and product requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Define solution architecture, service boundaries, APIs, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.
• Support engineering teams throughout implementation.
• Review major technical designs and ensure architectural consistency.

Architecture Governance

• Establishand operate the Architecture Review Board (ARB).
• Own architecture governance processes and decision-making.
• MaintainArchitecture Decision Records (ADR).
• Review technical risks and approve architecture exceptions.
• Ensure adherence to architecture principles and standards.

Reference Architecture & Standards

• Build reusable reference architectures.
• Define standards for APIs, integrations, cloud, security, observability, and scalability.
• Promote architectural reuse.
• Continuously improve architecture frameworks and best practices.

Technical Leadership

• Mentorengineering teams.
• Facilitatearchitecture workshops and design reviews.
• Promote architecture thinking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Have minimum 3 yearsinsoftware engineering.
• Have minimum 3 yearsinsolution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• Experience with payment platforms, banking integrations, telco systems, API platforms, event-driven architecture, cloud-native architecture, DDD, TOGAF, ArchiMate/C4.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, cloud platforms, and integration architectures.
