The Enterprise Security Engineer plays a crucial role in Amartha. You will be the warrior who spearheads various Enterprise Security programs to protect Amartha from internal and external threats.

The Information Security team at Amartha consists of dynamic, highly analytical individuals committed to integrating security and privacy by design throughout the product lifecycle and engineering processes. We are passionate about enabling security within Amartha’s systems.

Job Description / What will you do

• Develop and maintain the enterprise security architecture strategy, including policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Design and implement security solutions that adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
• Monitor systems for security threats and respond to alerts promptly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather security requirements and translate them into effective security architectures.
• Identify security needs, design controls, and advise on testing their effectiveness to ensure products meet both business and security requirements.
• Provide expert analysis, research, and advice on complex cybersecurity issues and processes.
• Partner with risk management teams to assess risks and communicate complex security issues in business terms.
• Stay informed about industry and technology trends, identify security gaps, and translate these into technical requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly across organizational levels.
• Experience with deploying and managing endpoint security solutions (e.g., management frameworks, EDR tools).
• Experience with cloud service providers such as GCP and AWS.
• Knowledge of identity and access management protocols like SAML, OAUTH, and SCIM.
• Understanding of email security protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Wazuh, Forcepoint, Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Elastic Stack, and other enterprise security tools.
