Job summary

Sun Life Financial in Indonesia seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and govern IT architecture strategy aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on enterprise-level design and governance across applications, cloud, and APIs, with leadership across global teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive IT experience, TOGAF/Zachman/Gartner EA knowledge, and a track record delivering complex platforms in financial services.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor degree preferably with Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline.
• 15+ years IT experience, preferably 5+ years in the FS Sector.

Responsibilities

• Focus on enterprise-level design of the IT landscape and track tools and technology evolution of applications portfolio.
• Align design patterns and standards with overall technology vision, architecture & roadmap.
• Coordinate with Governance Controller and ensure audit compliance to architecture standards and collaborate with global Enterprise Architects.
• Provide thought leadership on technologies such as Portals, Mobile Apps, Microservices, APIs, Cloud, DevOps, Workflow, IAM.
• Set up standards, guardrails and design patterns for applications hosted on Sun Life AWS Cloud.

Job Description: Enterprise Architect – Indonesia is responsible for defining, governing, and advancing the IT architecture strategy, technology vision and execution, ensuring alignment with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and global technology direction.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the enterprise-level design of the IT landscape and keep track of tools and technology evolution of applications portfolio
• Take a broader strategic view to check and align whether the design patterns and standards chosen by the technical architects and tech leads is in accordance with the overall technology vision, architecture & roadmap
• Coordinate with Governance Controller and align in terms of support audit compliance to architecture standards and collaborate with other Enterprise Architects globally
• Provide thought leadership on range of technologies such as Portals, Mobile Apps, Microservices, API’s, Cloud, DevOps, Workflow, Document Management, IAM etc.
• Responsible in setting up the standards, guardrails and design patterns for applications hosted on SL AWS Cloud

Requirement

• Minimum Bachelor degree preferably with Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline.
• 15+ years IT experience, preferably 5+ years in the FS Sector

Specialized Knowledge

• TOGAF or Zachman Frameworks or Gartner EA
• Proven experience across broad range of technology areas such as Microservices, COTS solutions, Legacy Modernization, Integration, ECM, BPM, Workflow, Portals, Mobile Apps, Cloud, API, DevOps etc

Communications, both verbal (e.g. presentations, seminars) and written (e.g. reports, articles) Group session facilitation Deep understanding of the Financial Services industry. Demonstrated experience in developing complex solutions and platforms
