Job description

• Carry out the timetable of classes assigned by the STM.
• Give lessons to the highest standards of English language teaching.
• Be familiar with all courses of study at the center.
• Prepare lessons and equipment in advance for all classes.
• Be in class 5 minutes before starting time. Test equipment before class starts.
• Use audio/video materials in classes. Expose students to the technology used in current courses.
• Develop and use suitable supplementary materials as necessary.
• Maintain student and class records. Administer, correct, and record the results of progress reports, tests, and assessments.
• Be responsible for students' welfare and progress.
• Inform students of center safety and behavior policies.
• Substitute for absent colleagues, perhaps at short notice, on or off-site. Cooperate with the CD and STM in ensuring constructive communication and efficient operation of the center.
• Continually strive for self-development and attend regular developmental meetings with the STM.
• Assist in the placement testing and interviewing of new students. Conduct or assist in demo (trial) lessons as assigned.
• Carry out teaching-related responsibilities including, but not limited to, demonstration classes, LIFE Clubs, tutorials, seminars, presentations, and center social events.

Essential Qualifications:

• Experienced in teaching all age groups.
