Job description

We are seeking 21st century educators for a position that truly matters to our local community. What will you do?

· Teach English to children ages 3-18

· Teach a variety of our core classes with your regular students, and then more unique activities such as Life Clubs, school trips, and cultural events

· Maintain ongoing records, scores, and progress reports related to your classes

· Provide meaningful updates to parents during Parent-Teacher Meetings, and perform placement tests for new students.

· Continuous professional development through in-centre training, collaborating with other teachers, and learning through our online training system.

Job Requirements:

· A bachelor’s degree in any field

· A minimum C1 level of proficiency as shown through IELTS/TOEFL/EFSet (C2 will be a big advantage)

· Teaching experience

· Preference given to those already resident in Bengkulu (though we are open to teachers relocating from other regions)

· A passion and patience for working with children, and overseeing their long-term development

· The ability to work with and develop each other as a team, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment

· Clean criminal background check

· Employment references

· TEFL certification or a teaching degree will be advantageous
