Job summary

Haskoning in South Jakarta seeks an experienced Engineering Manager with civil and structural expertise to lead and manage maritime structure projects, delivering designs to international standards.

You will guide design stages from feasibility to DED, mentor engineers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with BS 6349, Eurocode, OCIMF, and PIANC. This role requires strong leadership and client liaison across a global portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 10–15 years in maritime consultancy or contractor engineering.
• Experience designing maritime structures to international standards.
• Familiarity with Eurocode, BS 6349, OCIMF, PIANC guidelines.
• Knowledge of feasibility, concept, FEED, and DED design stages.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams in the design and delivery of maritime structures.
• Oversee all design stages, from feasibility and concept through FEED and detailed engineering design (DED).
• Ensure compliance with international standards and guidelines (BS 6349, Eurocode, American standards, OCIMF, PIANC).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support project management activities, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Conduct site visits and provide engineering support during construction phases.

What you bring

• Demonstrable experience designing maritime structures to international standards (e.g., BS 6349).
• Familiarity with design codes (Eurocode, American standards) and guidelines (OCIMF, PIANC).
• Knowledge of various design stages: feasibility, concept, FEED, and DED.
• Project management experience is desirable.
• Site engineering experience is desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
