Main Responsibilities

The role leads development and execution of strategies to enhance product offerings and optimize manufacturing processes to deliver additional value to business. This includes managing engineering projects from concept to implementation, integrating new technologies, and improving production systems for efficiency and quality. The manager also overseesmaintenance ensuring equipment is regularly serviced and operational and utility continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include asset maintenance, continuous improvement, collaborating with R&D, marketing, and production teams to manage innovation, asset maintenance and ensuring effective – cost efficient- and high-quality operations. The manager develops preventive maintenance schedules as per Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS), troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure compliance with regulations. Additionally, they prepare reports on project progress and innovation initiatives, while mentoring and fostering a creative, collaborative engineering team.

The role also has to drive factory masterplan, building new edge capability for supply agility to support the business growth

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field

Preferred experience min 3 years as engineer manager, handling various technology complexity

Experience in other FMCG company which handle beauty or personal care productswould be an advantage

The role is based in factory located in Cikarang, West Java. Local hire and permanent.
