We are currently seeking a highly motivated, solution-oriented Engineering Manager with exceptional leadership skills to inspire our team to achieve their goals and excel at Grand Hyatt Bali.

The Engineering Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. They will manage a team of technicians/engineers, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to high standards. Additionally, the Engineering Manager assists the Director of Engineering and Assistant Director of Engineering in ensuring the efficient and economical operation of the Engineering Department, supporting all other departments, and maintaining equipment, buildings, and grounds in optimal condition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma degree in a related major, such as Engineering or Technical field. BNSP Technician Certificate is required.
• Solid technical knowledge is essential, including understanding basic engineering principles and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage team members effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess situations and solve problems efficiently, with the ability to plan and implement improvement measures to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Technical expertise in Electrical/Power Plant, HVAC/Chiller Plant, Mechanical, and Building Management systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of design software and engineering tools such as CAD is a plus.
• Management skills in budgeting, operational costs, and team coordination, along with strong leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and other hotel staff. Ability to clearly explain technical issues and follow technical instructions and manuals.
