Job description

As Engineer Unit Process Engineering, you will lead process improvement initiatives.

Job Description

In your new role, you will:

  1. Monitor process performance indices on qualified processes and establish good controls.
  2. Sustain and continuously improve qualified technologies in volume production regarding stability, quality, productivity, and yield.
  3. Lead troubleshooting of process issues and establish systematic approaches through 8D, DMAIC to prevent reoccurrence.
  4. Support the development of new technologies and ensure smooth take-over into volume production and integration into the manufacturing environment.
  5. Be accountable for driving 8D closure of FAR, MRB, DDM, and SCAR. Lead and drive focus teams and task forces.
  6. Lead and participate in yield, quality improvement, and cost reduction activities.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Physics, Materials Science, or Semiconductor Technology.
  • Strong skills in statistical data analysis, problem solving, and analytical thinking.
  • Expertise in process knowledge and skills in manufacturing processes and some equipment knowledge.
  • Proficiency in systematic problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, FTA, Fishbone diagrams.
  • Knowledge of first-level reliability, including understanding failure modes, applications, and relevant standards.
