Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a qualified engineer to monitor and maintain services in offshore areas. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's in Engineering or IT, a Cisco Certificate is a plus, and must be fluent in English. Responsibilities include managing devices and reporting on their performance. This role requires willingness to work under pressure and in elevated locations.

• Monitor and maintain services and devices in the work area.
• Check and repair level one issues with devices.
• Produce regular task updates and performance status reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication/Network), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• Having a Cisco Certificate such as CCNA will be advantages
• Willing to be placed in offshore and remote area
• Having a healthy body and healthy eyes
• Willing to work in elevation area
• Able to work individually or as part of a team and under pressure
• Ability to analyze technical problems, draw conclusions and provide recommendations / proposed solutions
• Having knowledge about HSE
• Fluent in English is a must

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain services, devices, support, interconnection with third parties and performance services in the work area to keep it functioning properly
• Check and repair level one if there is a problem with the device
• Escalate to the Network Support Coordinator if there is a disruption to services
• Produce regular task updates reports and device performance status reports continuously
• Coordinate with the customer in charge and our internal team
